It is often easier to communicate using illustrations to demonstrate product instructions, parts and processes in a clear and effective manner. Illustration can be a concise and simple way to inform the end-user without multi-lingual and sometimes ambiguous written descriptions.
I produce detailed, accurate isometric illustrations from engineering plans and schematics. Depending on their purpose it can be more cost-effective to illustrate very complex machinery rather than create highly detailed 3D models. The production line illustrations below were produced for large format annotated factory tour boards and brochures TechnipFMC, Newcastle demonstrating plant machinery at various stages of undersea cable production.

I've been using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop since 1992 and I'm proficient in photo enhancement and retouching and producing photo-realistic illustrations primarily for print.
